Goh Meng Yee And Her Boyfriend Have Been Together For 10 Years And Were Supposed To Get Married Next Year
The classmates, Goh Meng Yee and her boyfriend, had been romantically involved for the past 10 years.

But the relationship turned sour recently when the man told his mother, a divorcee, last Saturday that he could no longer live and preferred to die.
The Couple Started Quarreling On Sunday Night And Then Meng Yee's Boyfriend Stabbed Her
The man's 19-year-old brother, identified as Edward, said the couple had a heated argument between 9pm and 10pm on Sunday.
“We only realised that their argument ended in death when my mother returned home after getting a distress call from my brother,” he said.

The boyfriend later attempted to take his own life by stabbing himself with the knife he used in the 4am incident yesterday.
Edward said his injured brother was sitting on a sofa in the hall and continued saying that he wanted to die.

Police Are Still Looking For The Murder Motive
Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Salehhudin Abd Rahman said police found the weapon used in the stabbing in a room.
“We are still probing the motive and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code,” he said.
