Mid Valley & The Gardens Mall To Increase Parking Rates Starting October

The parking rates at Mid Valley Megamall and The Gardens Mall will increase from October onwards
Mid Valley's parking lot is split into two sections: regular and premium areas.
The regular area in Mid Valley includes Zone A, C, G, H, while The Gardens' areas are B and U.
According to the website, the rates for the regular areas are currently RM2 for the first three hours and RM1 every hour thereafter. On weekends, the rates are RM3 for the first three hours and RM1 every hour thereafter.
As for the premium areas on weekdays and weekends, the first hour is RM4. Every subsequent hour is RM2.
However, starting October, the new rates for the regular areas are as follows:
On weekdays
The first three hours – RM2
Third and fourth hours – RM1
Subsequent hours – RM2.50
On weekends and public holidays
First three hours – RM3
Subsequent hours – RM1
The new rates for the premium areas are as follows:
On weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
RM4 for the first hour
RM2.50 every subsequent hour
There are no maximum charges for both regular and premium areas, based on a report by Oriental Daily.
The increase in parking rates is basically for the subsequent hours, from RM1 in the regular parking areas and RM2 in the premium areas to RM2.50 for both come October
