Minister Rina Harun Tests Positive For COVID-19 And Is Receiving Treatment At Sungai Buloh

She is the third Cabinet minister to have tested positive for the coronavirus disease.

Women, Family, and Community Development Minister Rina Harun has tested positive for COVID-19

According to Sinar Harian, she was found positive after a screening at the Putrajaya Health Clinic on Sunday, 10 January.

As of today, Rina is the third Cabinet minister to have tested positive for the coronavirus disease.

She was admitted to Sungai Buloh Hospital earlier today, 11 January

A statement from her office was issued on their official Facebook page. It read, "The minister apologises if this incident has caused any inconvenience and anxiety and she hopes and prays to God that all matters are eased for those involved."

They added that in Rina's absence, the Ministry will continue its work as usual.
