Minister Tok Pa Has Now Tested Positive For COVID-19
He tested positive last night, 9 January. A day before on 8 January, he had an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department for Economic Affairs Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed has now tested positive for COVID-19
In a statement today, 10 January, his office said that the minister, who arrived in Kota Baru, Kelantan, on Saturday morning, took a swab test and was confirmed positive yesterday night, 9 January.
"He was admitted to the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital (HRPZ II) at 10.30pm Saturday for close monitoring by health and medical staff, and his condition remains stable," the statement read.
Prior to this, Mustapa, who is commonly known as Tok Pa, underwent COVID-19 screening on 1 January, returning a negative result
"Mustapa apologises over any inconveniences that arise from this situation and hopes all parties pray for Allah to ease our difficulties," the statement added.

According to a report in The Vibes, the Agong has tested negative for COVID-19 so far.
Meanwhile, yesterday, 9 January, he met with a number of taxi drivers
