MOH: Another 125 People Test Positive For COVID-19

There are a total of 511 people currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) just announced that a total 125 people tested positive for COVID-19 today, 16 March

MOH wrote on their official Twitter page, "125 new COVID-19 cases reported in Malaysia. This brings the total of cases to 553 including 42 recoveries."

Out of the 125 new cases, 95 are linked to the ijtimak tabligh gathering that was held at Sri Petaling Jamek Mosque in Kuala Lumpur

With that, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases of Malaysians linked to the tabligh gathering has now reached 338. Previously, the number was 243.

There are a total of 511 active cases with 12 patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU)

MOH is urging the public to practise social distancing and avoid travelling to other countries with reported cases of COVID-19 such as China, South Korea, and Italy.
