Struggling M'sians Now Earn Up To RM4K Per Month Through Vending Machines
After three months of operation, Amiruddin noticed that his vending machine was gaining regular customers.

On February 26, the government implemented the Inisiatif Pendapatan Rakyat (IPR) programme, providing a short-term solution for Malaysian families facing financial difficulties
Among the Malaysians who participated in the programme is Amiruddin Ahmad Abdul Jalil, 28, who recently shared with Harian Metro that he was able to earn between RM3,000 and RM4,000 per month thanks to IPR, which provided vending machines to its participants.
The participant, who placed his vending machine at KL Sentral, said that after three months of operation, he began to notice that it was gaining regular customers.
"It improved my life and increased my income. I earned between RM3,000 and RM4,000 in a month by participating in the IPR programme.
"In a day, I would allocate around RM150 for food preparation. I mostly prepare breakfast such as fried rice and cakes," he said.

Zainab added that she also managed to earn between RM3,000 and RM4,000 a month.
"Previously, my family struggled financially due to the economic crisis, but fortunately, IPR's vending machine turned my life around.
"I am incredibly grateful for the RM3,000 I earn. I can now buy household items and look after my two disabled (OKU) family members," she said.
She also hoped that the government would be able to extend IPR's participation period, which is currently for two years.
