Malaysians Touched By 3 Young Motorcyclists Who Gave An Elderly Man A Ride To Bus Station
The elderly man had been chased out of the mosque because it was late.
What was simply a chill night out with friends turned into a heartwarming story for three young motorcyclists in Petaling Jaya, Selangor
On Monday, 12 August, Facebook user Ajak Santero shared that he was out riding with some friends after Hari Raya Aidiladha celebrations when they came across an elderly man trying to hitch a ride.
"God has beautifully laid the way. After aimlessly going round and round the village, it was close to 1am when we found a man in his 50s standing by the roadside with his backpack, trying to hitch a ride," the post read.
When Ajak and his friends stopped to check on the man, they were told that he had been chased out of a nearby mosque as it was late
"Dik, can you help send me to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), I want to go back to Ipoh," the man had told Ajak and his friends.
As there were no cars at that time of night, the man had attempted to sleep in the mosque, but was instead asked to leave - much to the surprise of the young men.
Out of pity, Ajak and his friends decided to give the man a ride to TBS
"When we reached the place, that uncle started crying," Ajak shared.
His friend also asked if the man had any money, and although he said he did, Ajak's friend still gave him some money for the trip.
"When we were about to leave, the uncle said, 'Thank you, dik. Happy Eid, have a safe drive. See you again in heaven'."
