PM Muhyiddin Announces That Parliament Will Reconvene For 5 Days Starting 26 July

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong's proclamation and ordinances enacted under the Emergency will be laid before both Houses of Parliament.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that the parliament will reconvene in July

In a statement, the Prime Minister noted that the Meeting of the Third Term of the 14th Parliament will be held for five days from 26 July to 29 July for Dewan Rakyat.

Meanwhile, for Dewan Negara, the meeting will take place from 3 August to 5 August.

The meeting will focus on discussing the National Recovery Plan with all members of Parliament

Furthermore, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong's proclamation and ordinances enacted under the Emergency will be laid before both Houses of Parliament.

The statement also noted that the meeting will take place in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued by the National Security Council (MKN).
