Police in Ipoh are looking for a woman who was seen riding around in Chemor, Perak while wearing a pink wristband

The woman under home surveillance was issued the pink wristband by the Ministry of Health (MOH). However, she was recently seen riding a kapcai in Bandar Baru Sri Klebang area.

According to Ipoh district deputy police chief Supt Lee Swee Sake, they are currently carrying out an investigation into the matter after they received a report about it on Tuesday, 8 June.

"We will issue a compound if she has actually committed an offence," Bernama quoted him as saying.

They believe the woman went to buy essential items at a sundry shop

Her act of leaving home while under surveillance was caught on video by a member of the public.

The video, which was first circulated on WhatsApp, showed her riding a black Honda EX5.

Lee said that they are now trying to identify the woman by studying the video.
