In November, PLUS removed all reload booths at highway toll exits across Malaysia.

However, to ensure smooth traffic during the festive season, all reload facilities at the entry lanes are also put on hold starting today, 22 January until 3 February.

This holiday season, a total of two million vehicles are expected to utilise PLUS highways starting from today

PLUS is installing 70 new self-service reload kiosks (SSK) at several locations along the highway to accommodate the surge in traffic.

According to Malay Mail, there are currently about 11,000 reload centres throughout the country.

They will also provide crane and tow truck services at strategic locations on the highway to help travellers enjoy a safe, smooth, and comfortable journey.

Besides that, highway maintenance and repair works are also temporarily halted from 22 January until 2 February.
