Resident Of Taman Desa Apartment In Kuala Lumpur Tests Positive For COVID-19

The management assured that they have sanitised all possible contaminated areas of the three-block apartment building.

A resident of a service apartment in Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur has tested positive for COVID-19

According to China Press, Desa Green Serviced Apartments management office released a statement to its owners and residents to inform them of the positive case.

"We wish to inform that a resident of Desa Green Serviced Apartments staying at Block 2 has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus," the statement, dated 26 September, reads.

In the notice, the management office assured that they have sanitised all possible contaminated areas of the three-block apartment building

"The safety of our residents and staffs are our top priority. We wish to assure that the management has immediately taken the necessary steps to address the issue at hand by disinfecting possible contaminated areas," it said.

Those who have symptoms such as fever, dry cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing were also encouraged to seek immediate medical attention

Besides that, the management asked all residents to abide with hygiene practices such as wearing a mask at all times in public areas, to use hand sanitiser provided at common areas, and to practice physical distancing of at least 1m from others.
