A bedroom for rent listing has sparked a discussion on Twitter, with netizens questioning its expensive price for such a small space

Twitter user @AsyrafRosli_ shared a screenshot of the listing that they found on an online marketplace.

Due to its small size, the bedroom was only equipped with a single-size bed, a wall fan, and a large sliding window leading to a small ledge.

But what drew netizens' attention was the fact that it was advertised as "a bedroom with a balcony" and was listed for RM600 per month.

Netizens were appalled by the bedroom listing and left their thoughts in the comments section

One user claimed that the space was not an actual bedroom, but actually the apartment's living room that the landlord had converted into a bedroom.

They also said it was cruel for the landlord to do so, as it would not be possible for the other renters to access the balcony.

One user pointed out that the bedroom is not safe for a person to live in, adding a picture of a wall plug that sits right on top of the bed.

Meanwhile, one user shared that two years ago, they used to rent a bedroom similar to the one in the picture, and it was also located in the same building.

They added that their old bedroom had no fan and no place to cook, but was rented for RM450 per month.

"It didn't even have a water filter, Wi-Fi, or a washing machine," they wrote.

At the time of writing, the tweet has garnered over 7,000 retweets and over 3.4 million views.
