It wasn't until two boys intervened and broke the fight that it ended.

According to a police report, the victim spotted one of her assailants who appeared as though she was being strangled by her boyfriend and reported the incident to a school teacher.

“After being questioned by the teacher, it was revealed that she was not being assaulted by her boyfriend but was instead caught making out. The suspect in question was angry at the victim for telling on her.

“She and her friends asked to see the victim outside school grounds and assaulted her and her friend who tried to defend her,” said district police chief Deputy Superintendent Azmir Abdul Razak in confirming the police report.

Police have now identified the girls, who are only 13 to 14 years old. The fight had taken place two weeks ago on 1 April 2015.

Police had brought in the four school girls from SMK Limbanak, three 13 year-olds and one 14-year-old yesterday, two weeks after the victim’s father lodged a police report on the day of the incident.
