At 4pm 24 November, Mohd Rahimy was kidnapped outside his flat in Bangsar and taken aboard the LRT
According to the boy, he was grabbed by a man wearing a face mask while he was playing with his friends outside his flat in Bangsar at approximately 4pm on Sunday.

When met at the scene, his father, an auxiliary police officer, said his wife informed him at 7pm that their son had not returned home.

The boy said he was too afraid of the man but decided to attempt his escape when the train door opened at the Taman Melati LRT station.
"I was initially cared that the man would harm me. We passed by several stations before I decided to try and escape from him. When the train door opened at this station, I quickly ran out from the train," he said.

He managed to escape his kidnapper on his own accord when he dashed out from the LRT train they were riding on.
