[VIDEO] Incredible Footage Of Strangers Lifting A Lorry To Save A Man's Life In Singapore

More than 30 people lifted the side of a lorry to free a pedestrian trapped underneath!

On Wednesday, 22 July, in an incident that was just an inch away from taking the life of a 35-year-old man trapped underneath a massive lorry at the junction of Bendemeer Road and Boon Keng Road, Singapore, a group of strangers came together to perform the superhuman task of tilting the lorry from one side to rescue the man

A video uploaded on Facebook by a person named Suan Wang initially showed at least a dozen passers-by trying to tilt the lorry from one side. The number swells to over 30 as more ran forward to help. Eventually, they managed to tilt the lorry and successfully pulled the victim out.

According to a report in Channel NewsAsia Singapore, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said the man who was trapped is a pedestrian. It was alerted to the accident at the junction of Bendemeer Road and Boon Keng Road at around 11.50am. The man was sent conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital with a leg fracture. SCDF said its officers did not have to conduct a rescue operation when they arrived on the scene.
