Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman is one of 100 of the world's most influential young people in 2018, according to a newly launched list by a London-based global platform

Apolitical's list, called '100 Future Leaders: The World's Most Influential Young People in Government,' recognises people aged 35 and younger "who have made a mark early in their government careers."

The 26-year-old is honoured alongside young leaders from all over the world, from well-known faces in government and policy to those quietly transforming the face of their governments on a local or national level
