Take Note: Immigration To Close 71 Passport Counters For Maintenance From 26 To 30 June

The Malaysian Immigration Department will temporarily close passport service counters at 71 branches nationwide to make way for system maintenance works
In a Facebook post, the department said passport applications at the counters, applications through MyOnline Passport, and passport printing services at the affected branches will be unavailable during the closure period.
The maintenance exercise will be carried out in several phases, with the first phase scheduled to take place from 26 to 30 June.

Among the affected offices are the Immigration Department headquarters in Putrajaya, as well as passport issuance offices in Jalan Duta, Melaka, Kelana Jaya, and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)
The temporary closure will also involve nine Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) branches:
– UTC Pudu Sentral (Puduraya)
– UTC Selangor
– UTC Johor Bahru
– UTC Pasir Gudang
– UTC Seremban
– UTC Ipoh
– UTC Kedah
– UTC Sungai Petani
– UTC Seberang Perai
Members of the public are advised to plan their passport-related matters ahead of time and refer to the Immigration Department's official channels for updates and further information.
