28-Year-Old Chokes To Death After Eating 'Sup Tulang' For The First Time
His sister tried to save him but was unsuccessful.

A 28-year-old man from Terengganu choked to death while eating sup tulang at his home in Kampung Alor Selising, Jerteh yesterday, 13 July
According to Harian Metro, Wan Azlan Wan Ishak, who was a hardware store clerk, had just returned home from work at 5.15pm and was looking for something to eat.
His parents and older sister were at home when the accident happened.
The victim's sister, 32-year-old Wan Suria Wan Ishak, said Wan Azlan had never eaten the beef bone dish before
"When he reached home, Lan (Wan Azlan) went straight to the kitchen to heat up some soup before eating it," she recalled.
"He had never eaten any kind of beef soup before. His favourite food is chicken and he also doesn't eat fish because he had choked on a fish bone before."
She said he choked on a piece of meat while cleaning the kitchen.
"He was probably so hungry because he just came back from work, so he swallowed the meat even though it was tough," she said.
Unfortunately, even though Wan Suria tried to help him, the 28-year-old lost consciousness and passed away
She said her brother initially shouted for help from their mother and gestured that he was choking and suffocating.
"I tried to help him but was unsuccessful, so I got him to recite the syahada before he lost consciousness," she said.
Wan Azlan was taken to Besut Hospital's emergency department and confirmed dead at about 5.50pm.
The sister said her brother was close to their family and was well-liked by all his friends.
"We miss him dearly, but we have accepted his death on the third day of Hari Raya Aidiladha," she told the Malay daily.
The victim was laid to rest around midnight last night at Tanah Perkuburan Kampung Padang Landak.
