Tesco Malaysia Officially Rebrands To Lotuss Stores

The supermarket chain made the announcement today, 15 February, on its official Facebook page. 

Several Twitter users already began spotting and tweeting about the changes on their recent grocery trips. 

Some pointed out the changes during their MySejahtera check-in scan, while others tweeted poster announcements of the new name.

According to The Edge, Lotuss Stores, or Lotus's Malaysia (previously known as Tesco Malaysia) is under CP Group. The company acquired all of Malaysia's Tesco outlets last year.

Based on Tesco Malaysia's 'About' section on Facebook, the company will completely rebrand by the end of 2021.
