Bukit Jalil Robbers Ran Away Empty-Handed After Underestimating This Perodua Axia
They could not break open the car's window.
A dash cam video dated yesterday, 23 July, shows four men attempting to rob a Perodua Axia in Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur
The men, who were riding two motorcycles, can be seen approaching and stopping next to a Perodua Axia that was waiting for the traffic light to turn green in Technology Park Malaysia yesterday morning.
One of the men began smashing the car's window vigorously, but to no avail
The robbers fled the scene after failing to break the car's window, which is believed to be tinted with anti-smash and grab film.
The incident only lasted for seven seconds.
Within a day, the video has garnered over 120,000 views and 2,700 shares on Facebook.
The viral video attracted netizens to weigh in on the incident
One netizen alleged that similar robbery attempts happen at the same location at least three times a week.
Another netizen requested the car owner to reveal the window film used on the car.
"The government should loosen regulations on using darker car window films for the safety of everyone," one netizen wrote, after claiming that the men in the video had already targeted items that were spotted in the car.
