Singaporean social marketplace Funzing posted a Facebook ad for the "first ever Pokémon job in the world" on Wednesday, 10 August
"We're looking for an enthusiastic Pokémon Master for the FIRST EVER Pokémon Job in the world. If you're a Pokémon fanatic, and you're always out on an adventure catching them all, WE WANT YOU!
If this describes you or perhaps a friend you know who would be suitable for this job scope, drop us a message! Selected Candidates will get recruited and get PAID to play Pokémon GO," the job ad states.
Tasks include catching Pokémon, training others on a daily basis, teaching secrets and tips, and hosting lure parties, walks, raves and experiences
Aside from Singapore, the company has also opened up slots in London for aspiring Pokémon trainers to try their luck. According to UK site Mirror, the idea for the job came after users continuously asked Funzing for "quirky and fun Pokémon GO experiences".
