Kertih Terengganu Industrial Park (KTIP) has become the first industrial park on Malaysia's East Coast to receive Managed Industrial Park (MIP) accreditation

The industrial park offers a 99-year land tenure and obtained Kebenaran Merancang (KM) approval in 2025, marking a key milestone in its development.
The MIP accreditation recognises KTIP's approach to industrial park management, including its infrastructure, business competitiveness, environmental sustainability, and operational readiness.
Following the accreditation, MGB and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) have entered into a collaboration to promote KTIP to potential investors in Malaysia and overseas
The collaboration was formalised at a ceremony jointly officiated by MGB Group Executive Chairman Tan Sri Dato' Sri Ir (Dr) Lim Hock San, MIDA Executive Director of Investment Promotion Faizal Jalaludin, and TI Properties Sdn Bhd CEO Tuan Haji Awasi bin Mohamad.
Through MIDA's investment promotion network, the collaboration aims to increase KTIP's exposure among potential investors, facilitate enquiries, and support investor outreach.
Lim said the accreditation strengthened KTIP's proposition as an investor-ready industrial destination and would support efforts to attract investments, create employment opportunities, and contribute to Terengganu's industrial development.
Meanwhile, Faizal said MIDA looked forward to promoting KTIP through its investment promotion network and facilitating investment enquiries.
KTIP is expected to focus on attracting investments that contribute to the industrial and economic development of Terengganu and the wider East Coast region.
