Acclaimed director and producer Datuk Yusof Haslam confirmed that he was aware of the incident involving an actress from his TV show

Yusof revealed that he had previously given the individual advice about her public conduct.

"The police have already advised us about this matter. As actors, we should avoid getting involved with drugs or any other negative activities if possible. But once someone is involved with drugs, it is not a good thing," he told Berita Harian.

Yusof also confirmed that the actress has been temporarily suspended

"There was supposed to be filming today. But since things turned out like this, I've had to temporarily suspend her," he revealed.

He also said that the TV series has very few scenes left to be shot.

"We will just wrap up filming just like that. I mean, because we have already shot a lot of scenes. There are only a few scenes left anyway. Even if she isn't around, it won't be a problem. God willing, we will finish the remaining few scenes."
