[VIDEO] Car Thief Drives Away Honda City With Owner's 66-Year-Old Mother Still Inside

A car thief was caught on camera driving a Honda City away from a petrol station in Kuantan, Pahang, with a woman still seated inside
According to the New Straits Times, the 66-year-old victim was sitting in the front passenger seat when the incident occurred.
The brazen act was captured by a CCTV camera at the petrol station, and the 55-second video has since gone viral on social media.
In the video, the victim is seen trying to escape as the thief hijacks the car in broad daylight.
The incident occurred when the victim, along with her husband and daughter, stopped at the petrol station in Semambu to refuel and use the washroom
District police chief ACP Wan Mohd Zahari Wan Busu said the victim and her husband had went the washroom first while their daughter refuelled the car.
When her mother returned to the car, the daughter got out of the driver's seat to use the washroom.
"Her daughter left the ignition on while she walked to the nearby toilet. Seconds later, she heard her mother screaming for help and saw someone driving the car away with her mother still inside," said the police chief.
Fortunately, Wan Mohd Zahari said the car thief dropped the victim off unharmed about 400m away from the petrol station
Harian Metro reported that the police are still looking for the suspect and the stolen car.
Preliminary investigations found that the suspect had waited on a stolen Honda EX-5 motorcycle at the petrol station before committing the crime.
The case is being investigated under Section 379A of the Penal Code for vehicle theft.
