[VIDEO] Passenger Confronts Mother Beating Her Children On An 8-Hour Bus Ride

A series of TikToks garnered millions of views for narrating how a mother onboard a bus to Temerloh scolded her children by beating them and swearing at them
In the videos, passengers had to endure the mother's scoldings throughout the journey from Kota Bharu, Kelantan to Temerloh, Pahang.
TikTok user, Qissy, who posted the videos, mentioned that the mother swore at her children, going as far as saying that her kids are "illegitimate".
This ordeal upset the passengers in the bus as they not only had to endure eight hours of scolding, but they also felt pity for the kids as the children are still young, around two to three years of age.
The caption wrote, "To all married couples out there, don't have kids if you are not mentally and physically ready. It is sad to hear. Children are innocent."

When the man asked the mother whether she wanted him to bring her to the police station, she apologised. He also told the mother to be more considerate of her children.
After the confrontation, Qissy mentioned that the mother was much nicer towards her children, even using terms of endearment.
However, she felt that if they were at home, it would be a much different treatment.
In the third video, she showed the scoldings that happened before the uncle reprimanded her.

The ordeal garnered mixed reactions from netizens
Some netizens felt pity for the children, having to go through such harsh scoldings.
"It's always 'no matter how bad they are, they are still your parents' but never 'no matter how bad they are, they are still your kids'," a netizen commented.
"It is not a reason to swear at your children. You can be angry, you can complain but swearing at your children? When your children grow up to be rebellious, don't ask why," another netizen wrote.
However, there were others who felt sorry for the mother, saying that she was probably too tired and burnt out.
"People have not gone through this feeling, which is why they don't know how the mom felt," a netizen said.
"The three children are still very young. We also do not know before they boarded the bus, how tired the mom was taking care of her kids. On the bus, the mother still was unable to rest. Erm," another commented.
"Let's not forget that it's on public transport. You think it's easy to handle three kids at the same time? It's easy for other people to say that because they drive a car. When the mother wants to enter the toilet, four people have to go in at once," a netizen shared.
