[VIDEO] Riot Breaks Out At SS15 Restaurant After Customer Finds A Fly In Their Nasi Lemak

A gruesome fight between customers and restaurant staff recently broke out at an eatery in SS15, Subang Jaya

According to Sinar Harian, the incident took place around 6pm on Monday, 1 March.

The police received a report around 3pm the next day.

A video of the brawl has been making its rounds on social media.

Footage shows a group of people pushing and hitting each other, while some picked up chairs and trays to throw and others looked on.

This came after one of the customers allegedly found a fly in their nasi lemak and slapped a worker at the restaurant

Subang Jaya district police chief ACP Abd Khalid Othman told Sinar Harian, "Based on the information provided by the restaurant manager, there were three women and one man who were unhappy with the food they were served. They then took out their phones to record a video."

"The manager then asked the customer to not make a recording but the plea was ignored and they threatened to circulate the video. One of the customers then slapped the manager."

"A fight ensued and the customers and staff started pushing one another," he added.

Three individuals have been arrested and police are still searching for the person who slapped the staff member

The case is being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting.
