[VIDEO] A Group Of School Students Are Being Investigated For A Roadside Brawl In Sandakan

A 21-second video showing a big group of students fighting in Sandakan, Sabah went viral on social media

According to China Press, the scene was described to be straight out of a Hong Kong gangster film opening scene as a large group of students fought aggressively.

Students were seen attacking each other, pushing, and hitting one another on the road where no vehicles were passing at the time the incident occurred.

Members of the public were shown breaking up the fight and settling the aggressive brawl. They separated the boys by pulling them apart and shouting at them to stop.

The viral video caught the police's attention who are now looking into the matter, reported China Press

According to a statement released by the Sandakan Police District Chief Assistant Superintendent Abdul Fuad Abdul Malek, it is said that the incident took place at Jalan Elopura, Sandakan around 2pm.

The police are now identifying the students who were involved in this incident and investigating this case under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting.

"The real cause of the fight is still being investigated," stated Abdul Fuad.

The police urge the public to not make any speculations regarding this matter as to avoid any further confusion that may interfere with the ongoing investigation.
