An albino buffalo in Bangladesh with an unusual blonde mane has become an unlikely Internet celebrity
According to AFP, crowds are flocking to witness the 4-year-old 700kg bull, which was named 'Donald Trump' by the brother of its owner, 38-year-old Zia Uddin Mridha, due to its flowing blonde combover that resembles the US president's hairstyle.
Mridha says the visitors to his livestock farm in Narayanganj include children, curious onlookers, and fans who became attached when the animal went viral on social media.
Visitors observed and took photos with the albino buffalo throughout May. According to Bangladeshi livestock department officials, such animals are extremely rare and appear white or pink due to a lack of melanin production.

30-year-old businessman Faisal Ahmed was among those who managed to get close. He remarked, "Truly, the features are similar between the buffalo and President Donald Trump."
Ahmed added that his nephew took a one-hour boat journey just to see the buffalo.

The buffalo's unusual resemblance to the US president made him the subject of celebrity.

Also known as Hari Raya Haji in Malaysia, this is an important Islamic festival commemorating the Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son out of obedience to God, coinciding with the completion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.
As part of the festivities, livestock will be sacrificed and shared with the community, especially the less fortunate.
In Bangladesh, more than 12 million livestock are expected to be sacrificed during the holiday, offering a chance for poorer families to consume meat.

Mridha stressed that the only similarity between the buffalo and the US president is their hair
He added that the surge in crowds has also caused the buffalo to lose weight from stress, forcing him to place restrictions on public viewing.
"The only luxury he enjoys is bathing four times a day," Mridha told AFP.
Children continue to peer through the farm gates, hoping for a glimpse of the animal.
Other buffalo on the farm have also been given nicknames, from a large-sized animal named 'Fat Boy', a gentle-natured 'Sweet Boy', and a golden-haired bull named after Brazilian footballer Neymar.

'Donald Trump' has become a crowd favourite at the farm.

"I am going to miss Donald Trump, but that is the core spirit of Eid al-Adha — making a sacrifice."
