Wall's Wants To Keep Delivery Riders Safe On The Road. Here's How You Can Help
They aim to raise RM100,000 to buy new motorcycle helmets for them.
To celebrate delivery riders while also making sure they're safe on the road, Wall's Malaysia recently partnered with GrabFood to launch Wall's Bersama Riders
With the ultimate aim to spread happiness, especially during these challenging times, Wall's Malaysia wants to reach out to every GrabFood delivery rider by providing them with a new motorcycle helmet.
In fact, with the Full Movement Control Order (FMCO) implemented, we've seen a significant rise in the demand for deliveries pertaining to food, groceries, and necessities, among other things.
That's why Wall's wants to make sure that all delivery riders are safe whilst on the job.
Through Wall's Bersama Riders, the beloved ice cream brand aims to raise funds to purchase RM100,000 worth of motorcycle helmets for every GrabFood delivery rider
To help Wall's raise their funds, all you need to do is purchase RM30 worth of Wall's ice cream or more on GrabFood. With every purchase, Wall's will channel RM5 towards the funds to purchase the helmets.
Additionally, Wall's will also be giving away RM50 worth of ice cream vouchers as a way to raise their campaign awareness. To participate, simply head over to Instagram and share your fondest memories with Grab riders.
Make sure to also tag @wallsmalaysia, and include the hashtags – #WallsBersamaRiders, #TQGrabRider, and #ChooseHappierTogether in your post.
"Here at Wall's, we believe that ice cream makes you happier"
"So, as one of the most loved brands in the world, what better way to 'Choose Happier Together' than to give back to those who have braved these difficult times to put a smile on our faces," said Shiv Sahgal, Marketing Director of Foods & Refreshments category for Unilever Malaysia.
He went on to share that Wall's Bersama Riders is one of their many initiatives dedicated to spreading happiness to the frontliners and underprivileged communities.
He added, "This time, we are inviting Malaysians to keep our local community spirit alive and keep our Grab riders safe."
