A professional wrestler in China took his wedding to the ring, staging a choreographed match against his bride. The stakes? The loser is stuck doing household chores for life.

Professional wrestler He Yinsheng recently staged a choreographed combat performance with his bride at a local hotel.

According to South China Morning Post, instead of a traditional stage, a giant screen displayed a "Groom vs Bride" poster above the canvas.

The newlyweds led their teams through a series of high-impact body slams, takedowns, and close-range grappling.

Cheered on by nearly 300 guests, the bride deftly evaded the groom's attacks and floored him with a shoulder throw

The referee quickly declared her the winner, exempting her from housework for life.

"Of course I had to lose in the end. I could not let her do the housework," He later admitted.

The creative groom opted for the match after realising their wedding budget was spiralling out of control

Instead of hiring performers, the groom said he opted for a wrestling match as entertainment.

Both sets of parents respected the choice, and the spectacle became an instant hit on social media.

"Our wedding had food and a show, so people were happy to attend. In the end, nearly 300 guests turned up, far more than we expected," He said.
