Recently, a video of a woman confronting a group of men for catcalling her at an apartment poolside went viral on TikTok

According to TikTok user @dsofeaa , it was 8:30PM when she was getting some work done by the poolside of her residence, when she noticed a group of men there as well.

In the video, she said she felt hesitant to continue her work alone, and so she called her friend down to keep her company.

While waiting for her friend, the men allegedly began harassing her by catcalling her

According to Sofeaa, she tried her best to ignore them but began to worry when one of them approached her in an attempt to intimidate her.

At that moment, she said that she had misplaced her access card and began to search for it in hopes to leave.

She then took out her phone and began recording the men as a protective measure and asked her friend to accompany her to ask the security guard for help

The TikTok user said, however, she was taken aback by the security guard's choice to fist bump the men in front of her.

According to Sofeaa, she then began raising her voice at the men, warning them to never do this again to another woman and demanded an apology.

She then remarked that women nowadays are no longer afraid of men like them before warning them that she has the evidence.

"Do you really think women nowadays are scared of men like you?" she yelled.

Sofeaa also told SAYS that she did not feel brave at all at the moment, but believed that she had to overcome her fear and stand up for herself.

She added that she believes that having the proper backup or proof is very important to one's safety.
