A family dodged a bullet, or rather a fish hook, when the fish head curry they ordered at a KL restaurant came with one

A woman shared the horrifying moment her father found the hook in the dish in a Facebook post on 22 June, which has since gone viral.

According to the post, she went to the restaurant with her husband, their children, and her husband's family and ordered a big pot of fish head curry.

While they were eating, her father suddenly spots a fish hook as he was tearing the fish flesh.

"Can you believe that? Lucky my father didn't put the whole thing into his mouth, he used a spoon to tear the fish first before he saw it," read her caption.

"But what if it was someone else? A small child? Wouldn't they have put the whole hook in their mouth?"

When she called the waiter to complain, they were said to have given her 'attitude'

The waiter allegedly said, "I'm sorry, it's the kitchen's problem. The kitchen was careless and didn't see the fish hook."

Not only was the waiter's response infuriating, the restaurant owner's retort was even more shocking.

"This is not our problem. It's the supplier's problem," he allegedly said.

"Didn't your kitchen cut (prepare) the fish head? Your waiter said it was the kitchen's problem, now you say it's the supplier's problem? I really feel pity for your supplier; they're just sitting at home, didn't the problem come from your restaurant?" she wrote, expressing her anger.

Finally, after more complaints from the customer, the restaurant manager apologised and appeared to give the family a discount of... 60 sen

Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the incident.
