Woman Injured After Ceiling At Kuching Shopping Mall Comes Crashing Down

According to Harian Metro, the incident took place at an outlet inside Vivacity Megamall around 10am on Wednesday, 18 August.
Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Aidi Ismail said that it involved a store on the first floor of the shopping complex.
The employee was the only victim inside the premises when the ceiling came crashing down
Borneo Post reported that the 35-year-old victim suffered light wounds from the ceiling's debris.
She sustained head injuries and had received outpatient treatment at the Sarawak General Hospital.

The woman then stood up slowly while applying pressure to her head.
The mall's management is still investigating the cause of the incident
Aidi also told Harian Metro that the premise owner is looking to file a police report on the incident.
Meanwhile, cleaning and repair work on the ceiling is underway.
