Cabin crew had approached passengers seated near the emergency doors to brief and remind them not to touch the button that would open it

However, the woman in her 50s proceeded to ignore the warning and opened the door.

When questioned, the passenger claimed that it was "too stuffy".

The plane had to be delayed for an hour after the incident, while the woman was taken in for questioning.
