Earlier today, 10 January, a woman was killed after a container lorry crashed into her. She had stopped her car on the shoulder of the road at KM235.6 of the North-South Expressway near Kuala Kangsar, Perak.
There were two people inside the car, and the woman was standing next to it.

A team of firemen from Kuala Kangsar was dispatched after the Perak Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call at 5.23am
One of the photos of the accident scene shows the driver's side of the Honda Civic completely destroyed by the impact of the lorry, which appeared to have dragged along the car's body.
The operation ended at 6.02am.
"The woman was killed instantly due to severe injuries. The two passengers escaped unhurt," the spokesperson said, adding that the body was taken to the Kuala Kangsar Hospital for post-mortem.
