WAU Animation and author Hilal Asyraf have announced a collaboration to bring the hit local novel Nirnama to the big screen
Departing from the conventional episodic format, the creators confirmed the project will debut as a film trilogy rather than a regular television series.
However, to build early momentum, the studio said a promotional mini-series may drop ahead of the main theatrical releases.

According to tech news portal Amanz, the narrative will dive straight into the events of the first book, treating fans to a faithful adaptation of the original lore.

Although these initial schedules remain flexible and could evolve during production, the roadmap looks ambitious.
The second and third instalments are expected to roll out at two-year intervals, keeping animation fans hooked well into the future.
