KE7B president Muhamad Muqharabbin Mokhtarrudin said Siti Hanisah was expected to continue the mission by climbing Mount McKinley (6,194 metres) in North America and Aconcagua (6,960.8 metres) in South America by the year- end.

"I am excited and thrilled to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. The trek is going to be different this time as I will not be facing ice, but wild forestation," Siti Hanisah said at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport yesterday.

Image via imgur.com“I will have to cross a lava field on this climb. However, the actual challenge is a 10km rock-strewn route to reach the top. “I also have to be careful to avoid food poisoning,” she said.
“My dream for this mission is to be an inspiration to my friends and fellow Malaysians by helping them to believe that anything is possible. “I would like to inspire other women and prove that we can do what men can do,” Siti Hanisah said before boarding a flight for Tanzania yesterday.

Muhamad Muqharabbin Mokhtarrudin, president and founder of Kelab Eksplorasi 7 Benua Malaysia which organised the mission, said Siti Hanisah and her coach, Zainuddin Lot were expected to make the Kilimanjaro ascend within a week.
