Acer has officially unveiled the Acer Googlebook 14, introducing a brand-new flagship laptop category built specifically around Google's new Googlebook OS and powered by Gemini Intelligence

As the industry's very first convertible Googlebook, this sleek device is designed to give you a seamless workflow experience by connecting traditional PC controls with deep Android smartphone integration and context-aware AI tools.

Speaking on the milestone launch, James Lin, General Manager of Notebooks at Acer shared how the device brings intuitive AI tools straight to users

"The new Acer Googlebook 14 puts intuitive and powerful tools with Gemini Intelligence at the fingertips of anyone wanting to boost their creativity and productivity.

"As a long-standing leader in Chromebooks since their inception 15 years ago, Acer is thrilled to continue our alliance with Google to launch this brand-new category of premium, AI-ready laptops," he said.

What makes this laptop stand out is how effortlessly it bridges the gap between your smartphone and PC

With Gemini Intelligence embedded at its core, the Googlebook 14 introduces features like Continue On which lets you start a task on your Android phone and pick up right where you left off on the laptop screen.

Plus, Cast My Apps allows you to stream and interact with your phone's Android apps directly on the notebook without downloading them, while proactive AI suggestions offer real-time assistance based on whatever you are currently working on.

The Acer Googlebook 14 is encased in a stylish Elemental Blue aluminum-magnesium chassis built for durability and mobility

Its standout feature is a vibrant 14-inch 3K OLED touch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 500 nits brightness, protected by scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass and compatible with a USI 2.0 stylus.

Thanks to its 360-degree hinges, you can also easily flip between clamshell, tent, stand, and tablet modes depending on whether you are hustling through work, presenting, or streaming videos.

In terms of comfort and aesthetics, the laptop features a silky Acer Comfort Touch finish on the palm rest, a Gorilla Glass touchpad, and an expressive Glowbar light on the top cover that gently shifts colors to display battery and charging status.

Multimedia and video calls get a major upgrade too, courtesy of DTS-tuned upward-facing speakers, a sharp 5 MP webcam equipped with a physical privacy shutter, and a noise-reducing triple-microphone array.

The laptop is driven by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor featuring a built-in NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS, making heavy multitasking and local AI processing effortless

It also supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage, along with a fast-charging battery offering up to 16 hours of battery life.

For wireless and wired connections, the convertible packs Intel Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a Thunderbolt 4 port, and dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports on both sides for maximum flexibility.

It is also environmentally conscious, constructed with 49% circular materials and 99% plastic-free packaging, earning it an EPEAT Climate+ designation and Energy Star 9.0 certification.

That's not all, purchasing the Acer Googlebook 14 also gives you a free 12-month subscription to Google AI Pro, unlocking expanded features in Gemini, Flow, and Gemini Notebook, along with 5TB of cloud storage

The device will release in North America starting October, priced at USD 899 (about RM3,669).
