The AI service experienced downtime from late last night (11 December) until about 11am this morning.
OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, quickly identified the issue and worked on a fix
This morning, they issued a statement:
"We're experiencing an outage right now. We have identified the issue and are working to roll out a fix. Sorry, and we'll keep you updated!"
