A new 288m cliff elevator in Yunnan, China, has transformed a treacherous three-hour trek to school into a safe 30-minute ride
Students in China's Nezhuha village are able to go school safely thanks to this massive elevator.

Situated at the base of a massive canyon formed by the Nizhu River, the small village previously relied on a single steep cliff trail to connect residents to the peak above.
The 288m elevator has shortened a three-hour-long trek to just 30 minutes.
