Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) today are navigating AI tools, digital transformation, financing challenges, rising costs, and changing customer expectations, often all at once.

That's why CTOS SME Biz Day 2026 is returning this year with an expanded three-city series aimed at helping Malaysian businesses grow sustainably in a rapidly evolving economy.

Organised by CTOS Digital Berhad, the event will take place on:

  • 9 June: One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya
  • 28 July: Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Penang
  • 8 September: Austin International Convention Centre, Johor Bahru

The event is expected to attract more than 1,500 participants per city, including SME founders, business owners, C-suite leaders, and ecosystem partners.

This year's theme, "Digitalisation, Innovate, Growth" focuses on helping Malaysian SMEs adapt to changing business realities while building long-term resilience.

The event will feature expert talks, networking opportunities, and a new Funding Pavilion

CTOS SME Biz Day 2026 will feature multiple zones designed to give SMEs direct access to practical business knowledge and ecosystem support.

This includes a Main Conference and Learning Zone featuring discussions on AI adoption, digitalisation, leadership, compliance, and business growth strategies. There will also be networking opportunities with industry leaders, technology providers, and ecosystem partners.

One of the biggest additions this year is the new Funding Pavilion, a dedicated space where SMEs can directly engage banks, financial institutions, equity crowdfunding platforms, peer-to-peer financing providers, and advisory firms.

Confirmed partners include BSN, Maybank Islamic, RHB, Standard Chartered, SME Bank, OCBC, CapBay, Funding Societies, microLEAP, SJPP, and more.

According to CTOS, the Funding Pavilion was created to tackle one of the biggest barriers faced by Malaysian SMEs today: access to financing.

CTOS group chief executive officer Ankur Sehgal said, "CTOS SME Biz Day is Malaysia's biggest SME platform, built on trust, designed for growth, and powered by access to financing. Through the new Funding Pavilion, we are bringing financial institutions, equity partners, grant agencies and advisors into one curated environment."

The Petaling Jaya leg will also feature Khairy Jamaluddin as the marquee speaker, while Minister of Finance II YB Senator Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan will attend as Guest of Honour.

Meanwhile, Human Resources Minister YB Steven Sim Chee Keong has been confirmed as Guest of Honour for the Penang event.
