Yup, You Can Now Upload Your Own 360-Degree Photos On Facebook!
The future is here.
Say goodbye to frustrating zoom in and out because Facebook has found a way for you to view panorama images with its newly-launched '360 Photos' feature
The feature was rolled out today, 10 June on iOS, Android, web, and VR (Virtual Reality) Gear. Users can upload and view 360-degree photos right in the News Feed. The move comes as a part of the company's ongoing push to support the 360-degree format, as it positions itself as the go-to destination for immersive content.
After capturing a panorama image with your native smartphone camera or a third-party app, you can directly upload it to Facebook, where it'll be converted to a 360-degree image automatically

Your Facebook friends will be able to identify the images by the compass icon floating on the upper righthand corner of the image
They can scan around the image by tilting their phone or click/tap-and-dragging.
In conjunction with the launch, Facebook has already gotten celebrities and publishers like Paul McCartney and NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) to publish 360-degree images of their own!
