Sue Jacquot, the 81-year-old grandmother known online as 'GrammaCrackers', has gained widespread admiration for her remarkably positive reaction to being raided
The incident occurred on the night of 18 May, Monday, during a 24/7 live-streaming marathon on her Twitch channel, which she originally started to raise funds for her grandson's cancer treatment.
During the broadcast, viewers saw armed police officers with guns drawn entering her streaming room and searching the premises.
Despite the intensity of the visual, Jacquot returned to her stream the following day to assure her fans that she was completely unharmed and surprisingly unfazed by the ordeal.
In a lighthearted account given alongside her grandson, Jacquot revealed that she was actually asleep when the authorities arrived
Far from being traumatised, she described the experience as "kinda fun", noting that she enjoyed the rare level of attention she received from her family during the confusion.
She spoke highly of the responding officers, specifically mentioning a "pretty" and "sweet" policewoman, and even admitted to enjoying her very first ride in a police car.
After the situation was resolved, she simply took an ibuprofen and went back to bed, viewing the event as a unique opportunity to meet people she otherwise never would have encountered.
Her grandson provided more details of the raid, noting that authorities deployed 20 police cars, five SWAT officers, and overhead drones
Jacquot, however, maintained her poise, stating she "never felt more protected" and appreciated that the officers were respectful enough to avoid her streaming equipment and stay off-camera during their search.
She was likely the victim of swatting, a dangerous prank in which someone deliberately makes a false emergency report to trigger a police SWAT team or armed officers to respond to an innocent person's address.
Her graceful handling of such a dangerous prank has left her community in both awe and laughter, with many commenters joking about her resilience while others expressed shock that such a wholesome creator would be targeted.
