Malaysian Voice Actors Are Featured In The New ‘Marvel’s Wolverine’ Game

If you've just booted up the newly launched Marvel's Wolverine, you might want to turn up the volume. The streets of the game's fictional Madripoor region are echoing with some incredibly familiar voices.

Viral clips of non-playable characters (NPCs) chattering away in Malay have been making the rounds online.

As it turns out, this brilliant touch of regional authenticity was entirely driven by Malaysian talent.

Local voice actor Azman Zulkiply recently pulled back the curtain on the game's production, revealing that Malaysian artistes were quietly working behind the scenes to bring the digital world to life

The rich linguistic landscape of Madripoor was built by our own local talent.

"Meet the Malaysian voice actors & voice directors who helped bring Madripoor to life in Marvel's Wolverine across Malay, Mandarin, Tamil & some local-accented English," Azman posted on X.

Despite the sheer scale of the achievement, the celebration is slightly bittersweet, as Azman revealed that several local actors were not included in the game's final credits

He is calling for a quick fix to ensure every actor gets their due credit.

"For some reason, not all of their names were included in the end credits, but they were actually involved in this game," he explained, adding that he hopes the voice actors are given the credit they deserve.
