The new iPhone 15 lineup has just been revealed by Apple earlier this morning, and the Internet is already losing its mind
Apple recently unveiled the latest iPhone lineup in today's Apple Event. The new iPhone series will include the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
And if you're wondering, yes, all iPhone models now come with Type-C for charging. Do note that only the Pro models come with 10 Gbps USB-3 speeds, which won't affect the majority of users as much, unless you're transferring gigabytes of 4K footage daily.
One of the most exciting announcements is the usage of aerospace-grade titanium in the Pro series
This means that the Pro series will have a tougher body while maintaining the light, handheld weight. The updated design also includes curved edges and an adjustable Action button, giving users the ability to tailor their iPhone experience to their liking.
The Pro versions receive enhancements in their camera capabilities, providing the equivalent of seven professional lenses with improved quality. This includes an upgraded 48MP primary camera system that now offers a default resolution of 24MP. Additionally, the phones introduce advancements in portrait photography with features like Focus and Depth Control, enhancements to Night mode and Smart HDR, and an exclusive 5x Telephoto camera solely available on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
You can now play proper games with the A17 Pro chip that comes with the Pro series
The iPhone 15 Pro equipped with the A17 Pro chip will be able to run proper games such as 'Resident Evil 4 Remake, 'Resident Evil Village', and 'Death Stranding'. In case you weren't aware, these games were launched on current-generation consoles such as the PlayStation 5.
The iPhone 15 series is available from RM4,399, with the Pro versions starting at RM5,499
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be offered in a range of colours such as pink, yellow, green, blue, and black, with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The starting prices for these models are RM4,399 and RM4,899, respectively.
For the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, they will come in various finishes, including black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.
The iPhone 15 Pro will be available in different storage capacities starting at RM5,499. These options include 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. As for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, it starts at RM6,499 and offers storage choices of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
Malaysia will see the release of all four iPhone 15 models on 29 September 2023.
