Hate to break the bubble, but there's such a thing – introducing Offpeak, an app where customers can enjoy discounts at a wide variety of restaurant at any given day and time!

First started out as a website, the initiative was launched by Off Peak Hub Sdn Bhd, a tech startup that was founded by Tan Ban Eu, Tan Ee Ern and Lau Ngee Keong who are very experienced tech investors in their own right
We tried out Offpeak's iOS app, and here are some of our thoughts:
Open up the app, and you'll be asked to log in using your Offpeak or Facebook account

If you just want to browse around, you could enter the app without any registration.
Once you're in, a recommended list of restaurants will pop up

You could also narrow down your search by choosing the location, types of cuisine (halal cuisine included) and even the location of the restaurant

Offpeak currently offers discounts at restaurants at Klang Valley, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Pahang and Penang.
For your convenience, you'll be able to get details of each restaurant featured on Offpeak

Just in case if you have any doubts about the place, you could browse the gallery to see some pictures of the restaurants. Also, double check the prices on the menu so that you won't get bill shock!
Once you've decided on a restaurant, hit up 'Book Now' and it'll take you to your reservation tab

The cool thing about Offpeak is that you'll be able to make a booking immediately as long as it's within the half an hour time frame. Note that different times will have a different discount rate, so choose wisely!
**Oh ya, did we mention that there's no booking fee?**

Once you've made your booking, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. You'll have to print out the e-mail and present to the person in charge to enjoy your discounts.

According to Offpeak, the discount will generally apply to the overall bill based on ala-carte items, excluding alcohol and in-house packages.
