OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia marked its second anniversary in the domestic market on Sunday, 18 July, by announcing significant sales milestones and launching its latest electric vehicle

At a commemorative event themed 'Beyond 30,000, Celebrating Every Journey | One Million Forward', the company confirmed that cumulative vehicle deliveries have surpassed 32,000 units nationwide.

The rapid expansion has placed OMODA | JAECOO among the top five automotive brands by sales as of July 2026. Its year-to-date deliveries have exceeded 8,100 units, driven by growing demand for its sport utility vehicle (SUV) lineup.

Much of this momentum came from the JAECOO J5 premium SUV, which recorded over 2,500 deliveries within four months of its debut in March 2026.

With an estimated starting price of RM125,000, the zero-emission SUV represents a crucial step in the brand's long-term electrification roadmap. The launch directly complements the company's existing lineup of internal combustion and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs).
