Parkour, Travel In A Bucket, And Annoy Citizens As An Oyen In This New Indie Game
OMG, the oyens are at it again.
Ever wondered what it would be like to be an oyen?
Well, this newly-released indie game lets you play as a cat that causes meow-nace to everything around it.
Set in a cyberpunk world brightly lit in neon colours and inhabited by strange droids, Stray (2022) follows the story of a lost orange cat that sets out into an unknown and scary world to find its family again.
Recently released on 19 July, the game quickly became a bestseller on Steam, and received an overwhelming amount of positive reviews from players worldwide.
"...There's one key difference between Stray and its contemporaries: you play as a cat. That may sound like a small twist or even a gimmick, but in reality, the shift in perspective makes Stray feel refreshingly new," said The Verge in a review.
The story begins with the oyen falling into a chasm and ending up all alone in an unfamiliar underground city
Initially, the oyen had been living in an abandoned facility with its family. During a trip across the ruins, however, it fell into a chasm and found itself in a strange, underground cyber city.
Players play as the cat, as it ventures through the underground city, interact with friendly droids, and avoid mutant bug monsters called Zurks, that prey on both biological and robotic life forms.
Aside from trying to get back to the surface while solving mysteries, you can also explore a lot of things in the game that will absolutely tickle your heart.

2. You can walk around with a paper bag on your head. What's more oyen than that?
