Porsche and Pixar have reunited to transform childhood nostalgia into high-performance reality, unveiling three unique, one-off 911 sports cars to celebrate the upcoming release of Toy Story 5
Each vehicle is a meticulously crafted homage to an iconic character from the beloved animation franchise: Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Woody.
The project traces its roots back to 2024 at Monterey Car Week, when Pixar production designer Bob Pauley and creative director Jay Ward pitched the concept to Porsche following their earlier collaboration on the 'Sally Special' charity auction car.
Brought to life by Sonderwunsch — Porsche's exclusive "special wishes" customisation program — the trilogy trades standard factory paint for custom-engineered materials and hand-painted, sticker-free exterior graphics filled with Pixar Easter eggs.
Buzz Lightyear is represented by the iconic 911 GT3 RS
The interstellar space ranger is embodied by Porsche's most track-focused weapon, a 911 GT3 RS equipped with the lightweight Weissach package.
The car features a striking white, green, and purple livery mimicking Buzz's iconic space suit. The left-side hood louvres are uniquely painted in blue, green, and red to mirror his suit's control buttons. It rides on white magnesium wheels with custom Goodyear tyres branded with "Lightyear" and his famous catchphrase, "To Infinity and Beyond".
The cabin features Pebble Grey leather and Arctic Grey Race-Tex upholstery accented by green stitching and seatbelts. The upper seat sections are wrapped in Violeta leather with an embroidered Space Ranger logo on the headrest, paired with a Buzz silhouette on the dashboard and illuminated door sills.
The cowgirl Jessie gets the beautiful 911 Targa 4 GTS
The franchise's beloved yodelling cowgirl is represented by an elegant yet athletic 911 Targa 4 GTS.
The body introduces a brand-new "Jessie White Metallic" paint with a pearl overlay, reminiscent of the buttons on her Western shirt. The lower body panels are finished in 944 Cobalt Blue Metallic to represent her jeans, while the hood and decklid feature Atacama Yellow with GTS Red curlicues.
A vibrant red Targa top acts as her cowgirl hat, and the traditional side badges are replaced with "Jessie" script. A custom "Bullseye" horse emblem sits on the front fender, styled after vintage Mobil Pegasus decals.
Inside, the layout utilises Dark Night Blue, Bordeaux Red, and Pebble Grey leather. The seat centres and door panels are lined with a specially developed denim fabric, complemented by black-and-white cowhide patterned floor mats. The headrests feature an embroidered sheriff's badge, while the armrest bears a "WR" logo for Woody's Roundup, and the door sills illuminate with a bright "YEE HAW!"
Woody gets the striking 911 Carrera T as its car
Sheriff Woody's rugged, well-loved aesthetic is beautifully translated onto a purist-focused 911 Carrera T.
The car features a highly experimental textured paint designed to mimic denim. Porsche achieved this by mixing Dark Sea Blue, Golf Blue, and white, and physically pressing a large piece of denim fabric into the paint layers during curing. This is contrasted by a Coffee Black front fascia, an Aurum front spoiler lip, and Fire Red door graphics spelling out Woody's name over gold-and-black wheels.
The interior evokes a vintage, weathered cowboy aesthetic using distressed brown leather alongside Dark Night Blue accents. The seatbacks and door panels feature Speed Yellow inlays with a printed red chequered pattern to match his signature shirt, while the same custom denim fabric and cowhide floor mats tie it to Jessie's Targa. As a final nod to Pixar lore, a Dinoco decal from the Cars franchise is subtly placed on the rear side window.
