If you see a weird login screen with VK on TikTok, you might need to step on the brakes and calm down
Users have reported seeing a login screen with VK under their account names. VK — also known as Vkontakte — is a Russian social media website that allows users to log in to multiple partner sites. However, some TikTok users on Reddit are reporting that their accounts were banned for apparently no reason after accidentally logging in with VK.
If you encounter a login screen that looks something like this, then make sure to follow the steps below:
Instead of selecting your TikTok name with VK under the account, tap on the trash can icon, and then simply add another user. You can then sign in as usual with your login details without worrying if your account has been compromised.
